What is Internet?
Internet is a network which used to connect all computer laptop mobile and other electronic gadgets in this world. we can share information and communicate anyone in anytime with this use of internet, that communication maybe one source to one destination or else one source to many destination. Internet- the name itself has it’s meaning interconnection of network.
What is broadband Internet?
Now we are all living in a speed world so we have to update our Internet with the most speedy one, the best option is a broadband internet connection. Broadband internet is one of the internet connection types used to transmit a wider bandwidth of data from one end to another end at the highest speed. We have more technologies like DSL(Digital Subscriber Line), Cable connection, Fiber optic communication, and Satellite com
Broadband internet service provides high speed internet access for communication with high quality like video conferencing, live streaming, online games needs high speed internet with good quality. It can be satisfied by using broadband internet connection, and also provide more secure data transmission.
Now we are all living in a speed world so we have to update our Internet with the most speedy one, the best option is a broadband internet connection. Broadband internet is one of the internet connection types used to transmit a wider bandwidth of data from one end to another end at the highest speed. Broadband internet, the name itself has its meaning broad means wider range so,wide bandwidth of data is transferred over a high speed internet service known as broadband internet.
Broadband internet service is provided by using various technologies like DSL(Digital Subscriber Line), fiber optic communication, cable modem, satellite communication, Wi-Fi,WiMAX,4G internet service. You can choose any one of them according to your internet usage,Bandwidth requirement, location and cost to get broadband internet service. It provides a minimum 25Mbps download speed and 3Mbps upload speed with high quality signal transmission for communication. The fine speed of broadband internet connection may vary 100-200Mbps according to location, the purpose of using the Internet then the number of users sharing the bandwidth.
Types of broadband connection:
There are two types of broadband connections available to serve the internet; those are wired broadband internet connection and wireless broadband internet connection. Both have merits and demerits in their own way.
i) Wired Broadband Internet Connection: In wired connection, the data is transfered via cable i.e traditional copper cable, fiber optic cable, twisted pair cable, etc. In wired communication, data transfer is secure because data is directly transferred via cable but installation takes more time than wireless broadband internet connection and it needs proper maintenance and initial cost is higher. It provides high speed internet service using cable but it has limited coverage area than wireless broadband connection.
ii) Wireless Broadband Internet Connection: Wireless broadband internet connection provides high speed data access and internet service using wireless LAN (Local Area network) and WAN(Wide Area Network). The Internet coverage area is higher than wireless broadband internet access.
Difference between 4G and 5G Wireless broadband network:
- Latency plays a major role in choosing the right network according to our usage because some crucial work needs to be minimal latency. So the 5G network has less than 1ms latency and 4G has above 60ms in some situations.
- 4G base station is a cell tower but in a 5G network a small cell plays the base station role. The download speed of 5G is multiple times higher than 4G network.
- 4G network has capability to cover 200 to 400 users in a cell but 5G network can cover 100 times greater than the 4G user per cell.
- The 5G network has 100 to 800 MHZ channels for OFDM encoding and 4G has 20MHZ channels.

Why you need to test your SAN-IDC Internet speed?
If any issues or data is buffering, then you have to check your internet speed. it helps to identify where the problem is , user end or internet service providers.
While checking internet speed it gives three outputs i.e download speed upload speed and latency or ping.
Download speed: The speed at which data pockets needs to reach from computer to internet.
Upload speed: Refers to the speed that the data pockets needs transfer from computer to internet.
Usually Download and upload measured in Mbps.
Latency or Ping: Latency is the time that the data pockets takes to reach the destination point after uploading from any computer.Shortly it is known as intermediate time that process of upload and download happened. latency also known as ping it is measured in terms of milliseconds.
How to test your SAN-IDC Internet speed?
To Test your SAN-IDC Internet speed just click on the GO button, in 2-3 seconds you can find your Internet speed.
